The Palace Tomb is so named because of its supposed resemblance to a Roman Palace. It is the largest of all the Royal Tombs.
This tomb had a grandiose facade on five levels which was taller than the rock into which it was carved. The upper levels, since collapsed, had to be built using large blocks of stone.
