Park Guell

The park was intended to be a housing development but failed. It became a public park in 1926 and was declared a World Heritage Site under the "Works of Antoni Gaudi" in 1984.

The structures were built to resemble bird nests

Bus Guell

Our tickets to Park Guell included a free return bus service to the park. The bus stop is just outside Alfons X metro station.

No luck with Picasso

We could not buy the tickets for Picasso Museum on line and thought we could try our luck there. Unfortunately the tickets were sold out.

Our simple lunch

We then made our way to Park Guell
