Peterhof

Peterhof (Peter's Court in German) was built by Peter the Great as a summer palace. After visiting Versailles in 1717, he decidedd to have his own and this palace  was completed in 1723.

St Isaac's Cathedral

Designed by the french architect Auguste Montferrand for Tsar Alexander I and completed in 1858.

The Amber Room

This room was completed in 1770. In 1941 when the Germans took Tsarskoye Selo, they dismantled the room shipped them to Konigsberg and their whereabout is now unknown.
