Goreme Open Air Museum
A World Heritage Site. Most of the rock-cut churches and monasteries in Cappadocia are situated here. Dating largely from 9th century onwards they were built by cutting rooms out of the soft volcanic tuff.

Uchisar
Uchisar is situated at the highest point in Cappadocia and can be seen from afar. The rock formations here in Cappadocia are known as Fairy Chimneys
