We took the JR Sanyo line to Miyajimaguchi Station and from there a short walk to the ferry terminal.

Osaka to Hiroshima

We took the Nozomi Shinkansen to Hiroshima. The distance is 302 km but it only took us 1 hour and 25 minutes.

We will go to Miyajima and Hiroshima today. First we took the shinkansen from Shin-Osaka to Hiroshima. From there the local train to Miyajimaguchi Station and then the ferry to Miyajima Island.

We were determined to try the ramen this time. So we joined the queue eventhough the estimated waiting time was 50 minutes. Our children did not want to and left. We were glad we waited. It was one of the best ramen we had in Japan.
