This castle was built by the Normans in the 13th century when they invaded Wales.

The Harbour

The Welsh name of Tenby (Dinbych-y-Psygod) means the place of the fish. Obviously, fishing has been an important industry in Tenby.






This lifeboat station is known locally as The Butler's Horse

This little shop by the harbour sells fantastic lobster roll and crab meat.

Tenby

Tenby is known as Dinbych-y-Pysgod in Welsh. It formed part of the area known as "Little England beyond Wales" where the language and culture is English.

Lunch at Boars Head in Pontyclun

We started our drive to Tenby and exited the M4 to Pontyclun for lunch.
