Lunch at Fujin Raijin Ramen

We went to the Universal City Walk for lunch.

We had our lunch here on our first visit to USJ in June 2006

This shop is still open today

The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man

We sat in the high-tech vehicle called "Scoupe" which crashed through the streets, being flung into the air, scaled the skyscrapers and eventually plummeting to the ground in a simulated 400 feet free fall.

Luckily with the Express passes, there was only a short queue

Waiting for action

Minion Park

This is the world's largest Minions area.

We did not want to queue for Despicable Me Minion Mayhem because the waiting time was 120 minutes.

The Flying Dinosaur

This is a roller coaster where the riders sit on the prone position. It has the world's longest track and furthest initial drop.

They were sitting in the second row

They used our express passes for their second ride

Now they are in the fourth row

Jurassic Park

Where dinosaurs still live.

Feeding time

We were at the park when it opened at 9.00 am and rushed here to avoid the queue. This also enabled us to use our express pass for Spider-Man. A good strategy by my girl.

Oblivious to the danger behind them

This ride ends with a near vertical 85 feet drop to escape a dinosaur

USJ Studio and Express Pass

We bought our studio passes on line before we went to Japan to avoid the long queue of buying them at the entrance. All we needed to do was to scan our print out at the gate. Since we will be spending the whole day there, we only bought the Express Pass-4 which includes the following options:

1. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey 4K3D
2. The Flying Dinosaur
3. The Amazing Adventures of  Spider-Man-The Ride 4K3D OR Jurassic Park- The Ride
4. JAWS or Terminator 2 OR Backdraft

We chose the above option because Harry Potter and the Flying Dinosaur are the latest additions and we have tried the Spider-Man , JAWS and Jurassic Park on our first visit.

The Express Pass is a must to guarantee your entry into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and to save time because the waiting time for each ride is easily more than 90 minutes!
