Chairlift to Monte Solaro

We took the chairlift up to the mountain. It was a slow 15 minutes ride to the top with both our feet dangling over the gardens, orchards and houses.

Anacapri is a little town situated on the top of Capri. We had our lunch here after coming down from Monte Solaro

Cathedral of Sorrento

This church dates back to the 11th century. Its beautiful interior contrasts greatly with its simple facade.

Sorrento

Sorrento is the main town on the Sorrentine coast overlooking the Gulf of Naples. We didn't walk to the town centre  this morning and only visited the cathedral as we have booked a tour to Capri Island.
