Imperial calls it Commemoration Day instead of the usual Graduation Day. It is to commemorate the the visit by King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in 1945 to mark the centenary Royal College of Science, the oldest constituent college of Imperial.
Commemoration days are traditionally held in Royal Albert Hall. It provided us an opportunity to visit the hall.
