Why am I so fascinated by fish and chips, one may ask? Perhaps it is because they bring back fond memories of my student days in England, when I used to eat them with my fingers, straight from the paper they were wrapped in, with plenty of salt and vinegar. Back then, fish and chips were the cheapest decent meal I could afford. Those simple meals have stayed in my memory all these years. I will definitely be back.
