We took a taxi here from the hotel after dinner. Rossio is the popular name for King Pedro IV Square. It is the liveliest place in the city.

Bica break

Coffee has blended into the Portuguese culture when Portugal was the biggest producer of coffee in the 18th century through its colony, Brazil. Drinking bica (similar to expresso) has become a ritual. During my first visit to Lisbon, I was treated to so many cups of bica each day. My host even drove me to a cafe for a cup of bica after dinner
