Tomb of Harkhuf

Harkhuf was a governor of the south of the 6th dynasty during the Old Kingdom.

The  tomb is fairly small with 4 decorated pillars.

A square section tunnel leads to the crypt.

Tomb of Mehku and Sabni

This is a joint tomb of a father and son. Both were governors of Upper Egypt of the 6th dynasty during the Old Kingdom.

Mekhu was killed during a military campaign in Nubia.

The reliefs show how Sabni led the army into Nubia to punish the tribe responsible and brought back his father's body.
