The distance from the airport to Oslo central is about 51 km. Flytoget is the fastest way into the city. It takes just 19 minutes and costs 252 NOK. We bought our tickets online before leaving for Oslo.

Oslo Gardermoen Airport

The airport is situated about 35 km north of Oslo. It was opened in 1998 and is the main airport of Norway. 15,000 people work at the airport to keep it running 24 hours a day. They are employed by more than 100 companies working from baggage handling to air navigation.

Bangkok to Oslo

It took 12 hours 20 minutes to reach Oslo Gardermoen Airport.

Singapore to Bangkok

The flight to Bangkok took about 2 hours 30 minutes. Dinner was served shortly after take off. We were so full that we skipped the Royal Silk Lounge when we landed at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok and went straight to the gate.
