Osaka Castle

We walked to the castle from the station.

Osaka Castle

The original castle which was built in 1853 has been destroyed. This castle was rebuilt in 1931.

This castle  consists of 8 storeys on the inside even though it appears to be a 5 storey building on the outside. It is now a museum.

Osaka Kaiyu Ticket

We bought the one-day Osaka Kaiyu ticket which included the entrance fee into Osaka Aquarium and unlimited rides on the Osaka subway trains.

We had our breakfast at Shin-Osaka Station on our last day in Osaka. We then took the subway to Osaka Castle.

Back to the hotel

We then took the subway at Namba Station  back to the hotel.
