Shinkansen (Bullet train)

Nikko is about 125 km from Tokyo. We took the Tohoku Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Utsunomiya. The journey was about 50 minutes. We changed to a JR train from Utsonomiya to Nikko which took about 40 minutes.We took a direct train back to Tokyo from Nikko
