The Gallery of the Maps contains forty 16th century maps of the different parts of Italy frescoed onto the walls along the long corridor. It also has a very impressive ceiling.

Roma Termini

Our hotel is just about 300 m from the Termini metro station. We took the metro from here to the Ottaviano station to go to the Vatican Museum. We did not buy tickets online because we were not sure of our itinerary.

Walking to the museum

It is easy to find as there are signs everywhere. Or just follow the crowd.
